Qur’an

إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقَاتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ

Indeed, the charitable men and charitable women, and those who give Allah a goodly loan — it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.

بے شک صدقہ دینے والے مرد اور صدقہ دینے والی عورتیں اور وہ لوگ جو اللہ کو اچھا قرض دیتے ہیں، ان کے لیے اسے کئی گنا بڑھایا جائے گا اور ان کے لیے باعزت اجر ہے۔

Surah Al-Hadid 57:18
Hadith

إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ

When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.

جب انسان فوت ہو جاتا ہے تو اس کا عمل منقطع ہو جاتا ہے، سوائے تین چیزوں کے: صدقہ جاریہ، ایسا علم جس سے فائدہ اٹھایا جائے، یا نیک اولاد جو اس کے لیے دعا کرے۔
